Tonya Update 7

Just wanted to let everyone know that Tonya came home about lunch time today. She is still feeling kind of puny but at least she gets to sleep in her own bed tonight. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Tonya Update 6

Tonya had her endoscopy today and everything was normal.... Well, as normal as it can be for Tonya. The doc said there was no inflammation or any ulcers. This was good news but we also didn't expect him to find anything wrong anyway.

Tonya is down to be discharged after breakfast tomorrow. I will email everyone when she gets home.

Thanks to everyone for all your prayers, Brian

Tonya Update 5

The doc came in this morning and said since Tonya's side was still hurting he was going to order a CT scan to make sure nothing else is going on. Tonya is still very sick at her stomach so he is going to contact a gastro. doc to come and talk to her too. There isn't much else to tell right now. I will let you all know the outcome of the CT and what the stomach doc says when I find out.

Tonya Update 4

Just to let you guys know, Tonya didn't get to come home today as we had hoped. She began running a low grade temp again and was sick at her stomach. The doc said he would not send her home in this condition. So, now we wait and see.

Until tomorrow, Brian

Tonya Update 3

Yesterday the doctor came in and told Tonya we would take it day by day as to when she could go home. He said the antibiotic appeared to be working and last night I noticed it had been changed to Cipro. When they took Tonya's temp last night it was 99.8. I don't know what the doctor is going to have to say about this. We will just have to take it day by day. The doctor was hopeful of letting Tonya come home Tuesday or Wed., but since this change in temp. occurred we don't know what will come.

Until tomorrow, Brian
