I am home from my back surgery today. There were far too many pretty nurses at St. Vincent's for me to be permitted to stay overnight. The doctor said the surgery went very well and I think he is right. I'll let you know Friday or Saturday. Pray for Miz Dee. :-) Bill

Bill Fortner Surgery (sorta)

It has been rumored that I will be the victim of back surgery Thursday, the 8th of January. (Mama Z ratted me out.) I fess up to some piddly laproscopic surgery to enlarge the spinal cord canal in one or two vertebrae to the size of the others and I will likely be home that evening. It is a piece of cake and nothing to worry about, however, all preemptive prayers will be greatfully received. :-) Bill
