Tonya is finally home
We are finally home now. Tonya seems to be feeling better, however, she is not completely well. She is still going to have to take some pills by mouth for a few more days. Hopefully, after this it will be at least another 3 months before we go back to the hospital. This time it has been a whole 3 months since she was last there. We now have to go to the drug store to get supplies to take care of the Groshong catheter that has been placed. I have no idea if insurance is going to take care of those supplies or not. I suppose I will find out shortly.
One more thing. Lately Katie has been fainting. It so far has been attribubted to stress. She passed out Saturday night and went into convulsions. We took her to the ER and they did blood work and a CT and of course, the Gadsden hospital said, It's just stress take this medicince and go home and get some rest. It seems we are now on our own and going to have to go to a Neurologist to see what is going on. Katie is in her second semester of nursing and has clinicals she absolutely cannot miss, therefore, it is very difficult to get doctor's appts. scheduled. She is taking some medication that may be causing this and she has been told to discontinue it. It is still in her system and still causing a problem. I now have to drive her to school and pick her up until we can determine if this is a medication problem or not.
Just pray for this condition to be brought to light soon. Thats about all for now. Brian
