Fires in California

Fires are raging in Santa Barbara again. My sister is fine, but one of our friends had to evacuate her home. She and her step-son are staying with Toni and Brian.

The fires have destroyed one building and one faculty home at Westmont College. The college website states that the fires are out there as of this morning and they are assessing the damage. Westmont is a Christian college which both Toni and our sister Dolores attended. It is a beautiful old campus.

The fires are still burning and being pushed by sundowner winds, making them that harder to battle.
