2nd Annual Tacky Party

The Second Annual Tacky Party was held on Saturday, the 3rd of February.

Folks came from far and wide, dressed in ways that were astounding. They brought tacky gifts and played Tacky Santa. There was, of course, plenty of food brought (we're Baptists, aren't we) and plenty of food eaten! (same comment)

After playing Tacky Santa (Marty seems pleased with his gift) the party got into full swing with four brave couples playing The Newlywed Game. The four brave couples were: Marty & Marilyn Borntrager, Brian & Tonya Scott, Wyatt & Ruth Mooring and Stan & Carol Zulker.
The contest started with the women answering the questions and the round ended with the Zulkers in the lead. Then the men took over! The Scotts made a spirited comeback, the Borntragers held their ground, the Moorings barely stayed in the game ......and the round ended with the Zulkers in the lead!

The winning newlyweds (53 years) , answering 7 out of 8 questions were - Mom and Pop Z!



At the end of the party, by a unanimous decision by the judges, this year's tackiest outfit was chosen. The winner and Tacky Queen for 2007 is (drum roll, please) Mrs. Edna Killian!
